Class description:
Mitsy Kit Simple Lacing Classes:
These will be held as one class per quarter. They will be held on the third Sunday of June, then again on the third Sunday in September, and then again on the third Sunday in December. The classes will focus on fleece lacing projects that will be holiday-themed. In June we will have a July 4th theme, in September we will have a Fall or Halloween theme, and in December we will have a Christmas theme. Generally, please order the Mitsy Kits two weeks prior to the email class session date in order to have it in time for the email class.
Projects will require the purchase of Mitsy Kit fleece project kits for each class since the fabric is specifically made using tactile bordered holes. A description of the quarterly project along with a link to order will be sent out to those who sign up on the email list.
Skills needed:
Pre-requisites include the ability to thread a ribbon through a wide-eyed plastic needle, weaving of ribbon or shoelaces through pre-drilled holes in fleece squares, some simple tying of knots and bows, and potentially light gluing of accessories to projects.
